Viña Los Boldos is a family winery located in the exceptional soils of the Cachapoal Andes Valley in Chile.
Our first vineyard was planted in 1936 in the Santa Amalia town, located in Requínoa in the VIth Region; years later, in 1991, Viña Los Boldos was created with the idea of producing high end wines, combining the extraordinary terroir of the Cachapoal Andes Valley and traditional French winemaking techniques. Later on, in 2008, Viña Los Boldos was acquired by the Sogrape Group; a very important Portuguese family company with production presence and own distribution in every single continent.

    First vineyards planted in Viña Los Boldos, in the Cachapoal Andes valley, whose conditions are unique to obtain grapes of extraordinary quality.







  • 1991

    Founded in 1991 to produce premium wines. A combination of an exceptional terroir in the Cachapoal Andes valley and traditional French vinification techniques.







  • 2008

    Viña Los Boldos became part of Sogrape, an important Portuguese family business, whith production presence in Argentina, Spain and New Zealand. To enhance even more the high quality of its wines, Sogrape set up a vast reform and investment program in the vineyards, the winery and the bottling line.







  • 2013

    The construction of the new vinification rooms is finalized. A new barrel cellar was also built.







  • 2014

    Viña Los Boldos believes in a responsible development and guarantees a sustainable growth for both our community and the environment that surrounds us. Therefore, we have been certified as a sustainable winery that preserves biodiversity and the ecosystem.

    Our vineyards have reached their maximum potential with plants that have managed their natural balance, allowing us to obtain higher quality wines and complexity. Development of strategic positioning and launch of the new image of our wines.
